A belated congratulations are in order to Indra Nooyi, who has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo., effective October 1, 2006. (The announcement was made August 14, 2006).
This is really big news.
Ms. Nooyi is only the second woman of color to be named CEO of a Fortune 500 company (Pepsi’s 2006 Rank: 61). [...]
